Value of anything lies to its fullest only till its not vulnerable . Once vulnerability strikes to the withholder even diamond seems a rock .

There is always a saying you put your heart and soul towards unachievable complexity and once the complexity is broken and yielded towards your will ,all efforts are zeroed and everything can be nothing in seconds.

 You either want something more or don't want anything towards it this is a law of nature but not defined at its fullest to perfection, our thoughts just entangles us  in a loop that the world revolves around us.

So learn to value the smallest things in your life, you'll never know when you'll be termed valueless.
